No. bar_date is scoped tight to PI intake preflight — SOL + notice-of-claim + tolling analysis. Full litigation docketing suites (CompuLaw, Aderant Milana) still make sense for 15+ attorney shops. This is what solo and 2–5 attorney PI plaintiff firms wire into their intake desk.
? How is $29/mo possible when CompuLaw is $150/attorney/mo?
Because we do one job. No motion-tracking, no rules engine for every court, no white-glove onboarding. Just: for this new intake, what is the SOL, what is the notice-of-claim window, what tolling risks apply, and does an attorney need to countersign?
? What happens if my state isn't in the indexed table?
The tool refuses to compute a fake answer. It returns "unknown — attorney review required" and lists the missing citations. It never fabricates a code section.
? Who signs off on the calendar?
The supervising attorney, always. bar_date drafts a short memo per triggered flag, and the .ics file only unlocks after the paralegal marks the intake as attorney-signed. That is the point of the tool.
? Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Stripe subscription, cancel any time from your Stripe portal. Your intake ledger stays exported to CSV if you'd like a copy before you go.
? Do you show testimonials or user counts?
Not until they are real. This app is new. When we have real customers on the record we'll cite them by name.
